Terms and Conditions Agreement
The Grit Gang Company – Pressure Washing Services

 

1. Services Provided
The Grit Gang Company provides pressure washing and exterior cleaning services as
requested by the client. Services may include, but are not limited to, cleaning of siding,
driveways, sidewalks, decks, patios, roofs, and other exterior surfaces.
At this time, we do not install gutter guards. Window cleaning services may be offered in the
future but are not guaranteed.

 

2. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates are based on the information provided at the time of quoting. Final pricing may be
adjusted if actual conditions differ, including but not limited to size, level of contamination, or
accessibility.
Any additional services must be approved by the client and will incur additional charges. Certain
conditions may require specialized treatment and will result in additional charges, including but
not limited to the removal of red clay, oil stains, rust stains, and hard water stains. Fence
cleaning and gutter brightening services are considered add-on services and will incur additional fees.
Gutter brightening may not be effective or possible on surfaces with oxidation. In such cases,
results cannot be guaranteed, and the service may be declined or limited at the Company’s discretion.
Most services are priced based on an estimated three-hour work window to ensure efficient and professional completion.

 

3. Scheduling and Property Access
The client must provide clear and safe access to all work areas, including the removal of
obstacles such as furniture, vehicles, and decorations prior to service.

The client is also responsible for ensuring that all work areas are free of hazards, including but not limited to pet waste (feces).
 

Failure to properly prepare the work area may result in delayed or rescheduled service and may incur additional fees.
The Grit Gang Company reserves the right to reschedule services due to weather or unforeseen
circumstances. Due to licensing and operational limitations, services may not be available in all areas of South Carolina.

 

4. Safety Requirements
For safety reasons, all clients, children, and pets must remain clear of the work area during
service. Pressure washing equipment can be hazardous and may cause injury if proper distance
is not maintained.

 

5. Water and Utilities
The client agrees to provide access to a functioning water source.

If utilities are unavailable, additional fees may apply.

 

6. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full on the date of service. No invoicing or delayed payments will be accepted.
Accepted payment methods include cash and credit/debit card (tap payments preferred).

We do not accept checks, Cash App, Venmo, or similar third-party payment applications.

The Client must have payment ready upon completion to ensure prompt payment.

The Company reserves the right to cancel or refuse service if payment cannot be secured.

Failure to pay constitutes a breach of this Agreement.

 

7. Discounts and Promotions
We offer a 10% discount to military service members and senior citizens.
Clients booking multiple services may receive additional value, such as complimentary bin
cleaning or a 10% discount if bin cleaning is not applicable.
Referral discounts are available—if a new client books a service and mentions your name, both
parties may receive a discount.

 

8. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24–48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Late
cancellations or failure to be present may result in a cancellation fee.

 

9. Property Condition and Pre-Existing Damage
Pressure washing may reveal pre-existing issues such as oxidation, cracks, loose siding,
peeling paint, rust stains, or other damage.
A pre-service evaluation will be conducted, including photographs, to document existing conditions.

 

The Grit Gang Company is not responsible for damage resulting from:
● Pre-existing conditions
● Oxidation or sun-faded surfaces
● Improper installation or maintenance
● Weak, aged, or deteriorated materials
Clients will be informed of any concerns and may decide how to proceed before service begins.

 

10. Chemical Use and Plant Protection
We use professional-grade cleaning solutions designed for exterior cleaning. While generally
safe when properly applied, results may vary depending on surface condition, including
oxidation and other pre-existing damage.
We take precautions to protect surrounding areas, including pre-soaking plants and rinsing
during service. While rare, overspray may occur and may affect sensitive plants. Extra care will
be taken with delicate vegetation; however, we are not responsible for damage to plant life due
to chemical exposure.

 

11. Damage and Liability
While all reasonable precautions are taken, minor damage may occur due to the nature of pressure washing.
Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Grit Gang Company’s liability is limited strictly to the

total cost of the services provided.

 

12. Stain Removal and Results
Certain stains (including rust, oil, hard water, and deep organic staining) may not be fully
removable. We do not guarantee complete stain removal but will use best efforts and
professional techniques to achieve optimal results.
By proceeding with service after being informed of potential risks, the client accepts that certain
treatments or chemicals may affect surfaces and releases The Grit Gang Company from liability
related to those known risks.

 

13. Photos and Marketing
We reserve the right to take before-and-after photos for documentation and marketing purposes
unless the client provides written notice declining this.
 

14. Satisfaction Guarantee
Customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are not satisfied, you must contact us within

24hours so we can address the issue.

 

15. Indemnification / Hold Harmless
The client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Grit Gang Company, its owners,
employees, and contractors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or
expenses arising out of or related to:
● Pre-existing property conditions
● Failure to disclose known issues
● Failure to provide safe or proper access to the property
● Any third-party claims arising from services performed

 

16. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of

South Carolina. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the appropriate
courts located within South Carolina.

 

17. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the client and The Grit
Gang Company regarding the services provided. No other representations, agreements, or
understandings, whether written or verbal, shall be binding unless agreed to in writing by both parties.

 

18. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling, accepting, or allowing services to be performed, the client acknowledges that
they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
